The ‚Proteger Ring‚ is part of the Lucien collection of ‚protection pieces‚ inspired by the ornate street lamps outside the Palais Garnier in Paris, designed by Henri Alfred Jacquemart. The timeless and powerful motif of the eye is designed to watch over the wearer, for the eye has been a symbol of protection for centuries in many cultures from Egyptian and Greek to Roman and Turkish.
